19. Classmate Blog Critique
In this blog, I will be talking about Madisyn Morphew's website. The second I opened Madisyn’s blog, I was hit with this super clean, calming vibe. Her whole website has this simple, airy style that just makes sense. Nothing feels cluttered or chaotic, it’s the kind of blog that makes you want to keep scrolling just because it’s easy on the eyes. Honestly, she nailed that part. The layout is straightforward in the best way. Everything feels intentional but not overdone. Some sites try too hard to look “designed” and end up being distracting, but hers feels very natural. It has that “I know what I’m doing without screaming about it” energy. I love that she didn’t flood the page with graphics or weird colors. Everything’s clean, readable, and cozy.
Reading through her posts, you can tell she actually enjoys writing, and that always shows. Her tone is smooth and confident, and she has this way of sounding informative while still keeping things personal. It doesn’t feel like she’s forcing anything; she just writes the way people actually talk, and that makes the posts easy to connect with. I noticed she balances detail and clarity really well. She explains her ideas without dragging anything out, and her tone stays consistent across posts. Her style stays grounded no matter what she’s writing about, and that's impressive.
Another big thing she does well is structure. Her posts feel organized, and you can follow the flow of her ideas without getting lost or confused. Even when she’s writing about heavier topics or giving opinions, she makes the content feel digestible and understandable. Plus, she ends her posts in a way that feels natural, not abrupt or awkward. A lot of people struggle with conclusions, especially me, but she wraps everything up really cleanly. Her blog has this balance of calmness and personality. It’s not trying to be flashy or dramatic, it’s just her, and the simplicity actually makes the writing stand out even more. You can tell she put effort into making the site feel welcoming, and it really pays off.
Overall, Madisyn’s blog is genuinely enjoyable to explore. The design is clean, the vibe is soft and inviting, and her writing is strong. She clearly has a good sense of what she wants her blog to feel like, and she delivers it effortlessly.
